So why is our first product a training tool for medical students?
It’s a fair question and an important one. The answer sits at the centre of how we think about healthcare innovation, risk, and responsibility.
In healthcare, trust isn’t something you announce. It’s something you build slowly, by being right, safe, and reliable over time.
We believe safety has to come before speed. Long before our technology touches live clinical environments, it needs to prove itself. That means thousands of hours of use, careful validation, and a clear understanding of where it works; and where it doesn’t.
By the time our systems are used in real patient care, trust shouldn’t be a promise. It should be a track record.
Introducing Praxis
Praxis is a medical communication skills training platform.
It allows medical students and trainees to practise consultations with AI-simulated patients in a safe environment. No real patient data. No clinical risk. Just focused learning, repetition, and meaningful feedback.
But this is the key point: Praxis isn’t a standalone training tool.
It’s built on the same consultation-understanding engine that underpins everything we’re developing. The technology that helps a student reflect on a simulated consultation is the same technology that can understand what’s happening in a real one.
Education isn’t a detour. It’s the proving ground.
A Deliberate Path
We have a clear roadmap for where consultation understanding leads, and its applications extend far beyond training.
But we’re taking each step deliberately. Building evidence. Stress-testing assumptions. Expanding only when the foundations are solid.
In practice, that means resisting the temptation to deploy too early, even when the technology is capable. Healthcare doesn’t reward haste. It rewards reliability.
